K12READER.COM
K12 Reader is a one stop site for all your language needs. This site covers 1st - 12th grade. I have used this site on and off over the years, and I can say it is great to use on its own, or as a supplement. My favorite part of this site are the Reading Comprehension worksheets. They are weekly readings with questions/answers. These worksheets reference cross curriculum, which is neat because you could actually build a week of instruction around these sheets. They also offer cursive, grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and other worksheets, and other worksheets here! Definitely worth bookmarking! |
HOMESPELLINGWORDS.COM
HomeSpellingWords.com is one of the older websites out there that offer a wide range of free resources. This site was specifically created in 2006 to assist homeschoolers. They cater to grades K-9. This site has spelling lists, spelling testing, games, and worksheets. The site can be used without registering, however, there may be benefits to doing so. They also have a paid version. Check them out! |
SIGHTWORDSGAME.COM
A free site that offers over 150 printables covering reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary. This site is geared towards the Pre-K/K-3rd Grade group. I really like how this site also puts a focus on learning the Dolch Words. There is also a lot of information on this site that breaks down other parts of language in an easier digestible form. A truly great site to visit. |
KIDZONE.WS
Kidzone is a branch of the DLTK owned websites. You can find many, many worksheets and crafts pertaining to reading, writing, and spelling. The range is for Pre-K to 5th grade approximately. This site can be navigated rather easily, by topics or by grade level. This was a go to site of mine when my kiddos were smaller. This site is full of resources, make sure to check them out. |
